The impact of Covid 19 on our life is very visible and the thing we can do is accept the changes, live with it and go on with our lives. After a year or two, finally, vaccines for adults and seniors are here. Months passed, vaccines for teenagers finally arrived. People are so happy and excited to get shots of Covid 19 vaccines but there's also some who are not yet sure and afraid to get vaccinated because of the possible side effects. If you have an unvaccinated friend, do you suggest to her/him to get vaccinated now? 


To put an end to the pandemic, a huge portion of the population must be immune to the virus. A vaccination is the safest approach to accomplish this. As of now, there's 11 vaccines approved for use in the Philippines. 61.2% of the Philippine population or 67.1 M people are fully vaccinated.

Based on the available evidence, COVID-19 vaccinations that have been granted an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) by the Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are considered safe and effective. Vaccinations, like the COVID-19 vaccines, are among the most thoroughly tested medical products available today. The fact that the COVID-19 vaccinations are available for usage less than a year after the virus was discovered is not due to sloppy clinical trial procedures.

The possible side effects of a vaccine include pain, redness, itchiness or swelling at the injection site (which may last a few hours); fever; feeling of weakness or fatigue; headache; dizziness; diarrhea; or nausea. Consult the nearest healthcare professional if you experience any of these. I think it's okay to experience some side effects after getting vaccinated as long as this is severe. It's the natural reaction of our body to the vaccine. 


Overall, Covid 19 is safe and effective. This is proven and tested by professionals in that field. Getting vaccinated isn't mandatory. I advise you to get vaccinated. It's for your safety and others. If you are sick or you have allergies you must consult a doctor first. It's always your choice.

The Quality: Not as Good as Before
