A CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER

Image
https://clipart.world/christmas-clipart/merry-christmas/ We Filipinos, especially Roman Catholics celebrate Christmas traditionally. Where people have their reunions, attend gatherings, join the Christmas activities and of course go to church. As 'ber' months begin we can hear different Christmas songs and we started to decorate our houses. It's really fun to celebrate Christmas but as I always say in my blog, pandemic changes everything.  As Covid 19 pandemic boomed we changed our ways to celebrate holidays because we need to follow the protocols. In Vigan City they give gifts to the Bigueño's, like spaghetti packs, ham and other foods that we can prepare on Christmas eve. They still conduct activities where Bigueño's can join and have fun. Most of these activities are conducted online to ensure the safety of people. https://www.tempo.com.ph/2020/12/15/thanksgiving-as-we-begin-this-years-simbang-gabi/ There is still 'Simbang Gabi' and only few people are al...

https://www.shutterstock.com/image-illustration/3d-2-nd-quarter-cube-text-79112635 In everything we do there will be an impact on us and that impact will open new lesson/s. As I move forward to the 2nd Quarter, new learnings, challenges and experiences welcomed me and that makes me a better person than yesterday.  In this quarter we are still writing our own blog plus we learned about the different tags in HTML. Actually, at first I didn't know where and how to create HTML files but now, I know the different tags and their uses. Creating blogs and HTML is a fun and productive activity. We also started our research, and that means new learnings for us. I could say that I have learned a lot this quarter.  https://www.fanpop.com/clubs/being-lazy/images/853701/title/lazy-days-photo Moving on, we always encounter problems and challenges in our journey and in this quarter I had a hard time fighting my lazy days. There's a day where I don't want to do anything. I wanted...

VIVA VIGAN

Image
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_the_Apostle January is a very special month for Bigueño because this is the month where Vigan celebrates the city fiesta and longganisa festival. Every year on January 25th, the Vigan City Fiesta is celebrated. It is commemorated on the feast day of St. Paul the Apostle's conversion. The patron saint of Vigan City is St. Paul.  Before the pandemic happened, Bigueño's celebrated Vigan Fiesta productively. There's a lot of shows, activities and contests where children, teens, adults, seniors can join. Then, the pandemic changes everything, we can't celebrate fiestas like we used to be. We still celebrate our fiesta but through online. There's still shows, activities and contests where people can join but we can't deny that the celebration before the pandemic is more fun.  However, I am happy, thankful and proud to the officials of Vigan City in planning on how we celebrate the fiesta this pandemic. Considering the health protoc...

GOOD or BAD?

Image
https://images.app.goo.gl/Rmmqeu5az8angqKq7 I will start this with a question, how can you/they say that it is a good or bad change? I always wonder because I heard people saying that “she changed in a bad way” or “she changed in a good way” like how could you say that? So here I am and in this blog I will let you ‘judge’ if these changes that happened to me were good or bad. I do not know how to start this but since our topic is about my changes as a person then I will start when I am still a kid. As far as I remember, the young Danaya is very talkative and she can’t keep a secret especially to her father. She doesn’t say bad words, she is weak but not afraid to take risks and she’s a papa’s girl. The Danaya that is writing this blog is very far from the young Danaya because like what they say there is no permanent in life.  https://tinyurl.com/themindjournal As I grow older, my perspective in life also changes. My only goal before was to be happy but now I have a lot of go...
