Let me ask you, if you read or heard the word Christmas what comes into your mind first? Maybe you would think it’s the birthday of Jesus, Santa Claus, gifts, family, love, carolling, programs, foods or just nothing. This year’s Christmas is quite the same as last year because we are still in the middle of a pandemic but I can say that no one can stop us from spreading love and blessings to others.

As we always say, COVID 19 pandemic affects everything and that includes our celebration of Christmas. Before the pandemic we celebrated this holiday by hanging out with friends, travelling, attending parties/programs and of course spending time with family and self. Now that we are in the middle of a pandemic there’s a lot of protocols and requirements we need to follow.

We surely change our way to celebrate Christmas but we didn’t stop sharing love, blessings and positivity and for me that’s one of the essence of Christmas. We really need these things right now because as the pandemic booms it seems like the world has been surrounded with negativity. Let’s have the essence of Christmas in our daily lives. We start to give love to others by checking them, sharing our blessings by giving food and spreading positivity by posting inspirational and positive quotes in our social media.

Overall, one of the essence of Christmas is sharing or giving. Maybe we are not like the typical Santa Clause who gives physical/material gifts but the fact that we are giving love and care to people makes us our own version of Santa. The world is full of negativity so let’s spread love and be positive but please not with COVID. Merry Christmas to all!

The Quality: Not as Good as Before

During this pandemic we do not have a physical class but we do have an online and modular class. It is great because despite of Covid19 pandemic, DepEd makes ways for us to continue our study by different learning methods. GOOD or BAD?

I always wonder because I heard people saying that “she changed in a bad way” or “she changed in a good way” like how could you say that?
